Hello,  My name is Russ Maynard and I am a Program Coordinator with Insite - Supervised Injection Facility in Vancouver,  B.C. Insite is the only legal supervised injection facility in North America and the busiest injection site in the world: we see an average of 850 visits per day/360 days per year. I will be in New Orleans for a brief holiday mid-March. If I could, I would like to connect with some of New Orleans harm reduction programs to learn about programs and challenges in your area. If any groups are interested I could do a short presentation on Vancouver's experiences.  Insite is located in a low-income area of Vancouver known as the Downtown Eastside (DTES) and it is estimated to have up to 5000 intravenous drug users in the City.
